You may have noticed that things have been a bit quiet on our end lately. That’s not because we’ve gone anywhere — quite the opposite. We’ve been busy behind the scenes giving the website a major overhaul.
Over the past few months, The German Tapestry has been moving from Wix to WordPress. This new platform gives us much more flexibility and room to grow, and it allows us to create a deeper, more engaging experience for our readers — with better organization, more translations, and more historical threads to explore.
There’s nothing you need to do on your end. Your subscription has already been transferred from the old website to the new one, so you’ll continue to receive updates about new articles and newsletters straight to your inbox.
While we’re putting the finishing touches on new pieces, we invite you to visit the updated website, take a look around, and explore some of the recent changes and newly translated content. You can also follow us on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.

Vielleicht ist Ihnen aufgefallen, dass es in letzter Zeit etwas ruhiger geworden ist. Das liegt nicht daran, dass wir eine Pause eingelegt haben — im Gegenteil: Im Hintergrund haben wir intensiv an der Website gearbeitet.
In den vergangenen Monaten ist The German Tapestry von Wix zu WordPress umgezogen. Die neue Plattform gibt uns deutlich mehr Flexibilität und Raum für Weiterentwicklung und ermöglicht es uns, Inhalte besser zu strukturieren, mehr Übersetzungen anzubieten und historische Zusammenhänge noch klarer darzustellen.
Für Sie besteht kein Handlungsbedarf.
Ihr Abonnement wurde bereits von der alten Website auf die neue übertragen. Sie erhalten weiterhin Benachrichtigungen zu neuen Artikeln und Newslettern direkt per E-Mail.
